Colington Harbour Association
Colington Harbour is the gated community in which most of the members of the club live. It has deep water canals where you can dock your boat at you house. It has direct access to great sailing on the Albemarle sound. The Association is the communities "Town" government.

Colington Harbour Yacht & Racket Club (CHY&RC)
Don't confuse this with the Colington Yacht Club (CYC). They are a different organization. The CHY&RC manages the Colington Harbour Pool, Club House and Tennis Court. Click above for their web site.

Carolina Currents - The North and South Carolina Boater's Magazine
Carolina Currents informs, entertains and connects boaters. If you enjoy the coast, lakes and waterways of North and South Carolina and adjoining areas, then Carolina Currents is your magazine. While our magazine has a sailing bias, we ensure that our articles are of interest to boaters of every type: from one-design dinghy racers to trawler cruisers, from weekend fishermen to tall ship crews. We are read by youth just
dipping their toes in the boating waters andseasoned old salts alike.

US SAILING's educational website has posted a sailing primer for those who have never sailed before. The primer consists of 16 sections and five videos which discuss the basics of sailing. It is presented in both HTML and Microsoft Producer Format. The MS Producer format is a multi-media video format which combines video and a PowerPoint Presentation. At the end of the section there is a 10 question test for the beginning sailor. The site may be viewed at Sailing Primer
