2008 Pasquotank River Challenge Regatta
Elizabeth City, NC

Freedom Skippered by Bob Carter had great starts and sailed to a 2nd place
finish in the competative Non-Spinnaker 'A' class

Blue Iris Skippered by Lawrence and Darlene Battaile got off to a late start
in the first race but fought back and brought home a 3rd place in the
competative non-spinnnaker 'A' class

Sea Bird Skippered by Shawn Murphy shot the line a little early
in the first race but recovered and brought home a 3rd place in the
Non-Spinnaker 'B' class

Matador Skippered by Chris Elliott confuses the turning mark for the finish
line after completing only two laps of a 4 lap race. Yes that sail is
touching the mark and they spun it as they went by

Now Matador fowls the boat in the back ground by not sailing a proper
course

Good Fortune Skippered by George Litwin showed how a mark rounding is done
with perfect head sail trim. George brough home a 2nd place in the Cruising
Class
